The Wet Brush Review

This my 5 year old Penelope with her long and flowing hair.

Unfortunately this long hair has been a pain to brush, literally. With all the crying and fussing and screaming that has went on as I try to get the tangles out of Penelope's hair I have been tempted several times to chop it all off, but then her dream of being Rapunzel would be over. So morning after morning we have gone through the ordeal of brushing her hair, heck, it's been so bad that even the dog runs off when he sees the dreaded brush. That was until recently when we received The Wet Brush Squirt. The Wet Brush is made especially for detangling even the rattiest hair easily and painlessly. With its IntelliFlex bristles that are thin strong and flexible and meant to eliminate all tugging, tearing, pulling and ripping. No split ends, no hair loss, and best of all no more tangles!

The cool thing about this brush is even though it gets the tangles out of dry hair super easy it is meant to be used on wet hair. Use it right out of the shower or after a day of swimming. The Squirt version of The Wet Brush was specifically made for children. it's rubber coated non slip handle is ergonomically designed for little hands. It is compact so it's great for travel or to keep in your purse and it is also available in a variety of colors.

You can't even imagine how excited Penelope and I were when we received this brush and tried it for the first time. "It doesn't even hurt mommy!" is what she proclaimed with a huge grin, and my ears and sanity were thanking the creator of The Wet Brush silently inside. If you can relate to this post then I would recommend getting one of these or you can take a look at several other hair brushes and pick the one that is right for you.

The Wet Pop Review and Giveaway

CLOSED
Winner #12 rubynreba

Several weeks ago I was given the opportunity to review The Wet Brush. Let me just say that my daughter and I are still loving it. I was contacted by the company again to see if I would like to review one of their other products, The Wet Pop, but of course!

The Wet Brush Pop works it's tangle free magic just like the original Wet Brush, but it's smaller. This cute little round brush closes up like a compact and comes equipped with a mirror. Perfect for on the go styling.

The Wet Pop contains StyleFlex bristles that are firm to smooth out flyaways and are finished with ‘SofTips’ ends that gently massage your scalp to stimulate circulation at the follicle, a proven benefit for hair health.

It also comes in a variety of fun colors so you can find the one that suits your personality. This would make the perfect back to school accessory for your tween and teen. It's small enough so they can throw it in their book bag or backpack and the trendy look will have their friends asking where they can get one.

These sell for $7.00 online. Take it from me, if you want tangle free hair without all the fuss then you should give this a try.

This time I was also given a Wet Pop to share with one of you. One Girly Girl reader will win a yellow Wet Pop of their very own.

Closed

Winner #2

From the makers of RevitaLash Cosmetics comes a line of hair care products designed to revive your damaged hair and rejuvenate your hair follicles to promote thicker, fuller hair.

ReGenesis Hair Enhancing System is a 6 product luxury hair care line designed to work together to give you gorgeous locks.

  • Micro-Targeting Spray ($149) targets hair cuticles with its enriched BioPeptin Complex formula, ultimately acting as a hair volume enhancer. The Micro-Targeting Spray uses a time-released formula that promotes natural shine and body to your hair. This leave-in product offers lasting results by delivering the necessary fatty lipids, peptides, and oxidants to your hair shaft, helping transform your hair into a fuller-bodied look.
  • Fast-Absorbing Foam ($149) is a lightweight and easy to apply hair volume enhancer that targets low-density hair areas.  The lightweight formula is ideal for fast application and a quick dry time. The Fast-Absorbing Foam is perfect for shorter hair types and for men.
  • Thickening Shampoo ($34) uses a Scalp Therapy Formula to promote healthier hair by strengthening hair cuticles, ultimately helping improve hair shaft thickness.
Feel your hair become youthful, all while attaining a healthier head of hair.

  • Thickening Conditioner ($36) incorporates the Scalp Therapy Formula to accomplish much more than conditioning your hair. Thickening Conditioner’s phyto-infused formula helps your hair perform better, while helping your scalp feel healthier by conditioning and defending the hair cuticle.
  • Detox Hair & Scalp Masque ($42) ideally used as a weekly treatment, integrates the ReGenesis Rejuvenating Formula to protect against hair breakage. Through detoxifying the hair and scalp, your hair follicles will feel fuller and thicker. Feel added hydration and shine after use.
  • Spot Serum ($40) implements an Anti-Breakage & Scalp Defense formula to target your specific low-density concerns. Its unique and portable packaging helps encourage healthier on-the-go hair. Typical spots such as the hairline, hair part, and crown region are uniquely enriched with the Spot Serum warming formula in order to incite thicker and fuller hair.

I am always looking for products promising to combat my flat and thin hair problem so I was eager to get my hands on these. I was sent the Micro-Targeting Spray, Fast-Absorbing Foam and Spot Serum for review. The Micro-Targeting Spray is a leave-in spray designed to be used once a day. I have an ongoing problem with leave-in products leaving my hair weighed down and greasy. This product is meant to be sprayed onto thinning areas of the head. My initial use of this product made me very sad because as usual it left the hair close to my scalp looking weighed down and gave it a stiff feeling. Not wanting to feel defeated I found I could eliminate this problem by using it right after shampooing on my wet hair and then drying and styling my hair as usual. As long as I use the dryer and brush it does get rid of the stiffness. The Fast Absorbing Foam is designed to apply to hair before styling. You can apply it on wet or dry hair but I find that it works best on my wet hair before drying. I pump three times into my hand, apply it to my hair and then comb through. I have been using this stuff daily without fail. IT leaves my hair soft and with the added body I desperately need. The Spot Serum is designed to be used twice daily. You give it a little pump and then roll onto you hairline, scalp and any thinning areas. I use this morning and night and I love that is one of the few products that absorbs quickly into my scalp without leaving a trace.

I have been using these products for less then a month now, while I do notice fullness in my hair when using the Fast Absorbing Foam, I can't honestly tell you that I have noticed a difference in my hair all around. I can tell you that these are high quality products and I would have loved to receive the other 3 products in the hair system and see if using the entire line makes a difference. I will continue to use these products and monitor my hair.  You can purchase these products online to try for yourself.

I have an amazing giveaway to offer one Girly Girl reader. The generous people at RevitaLash Cosmetics is allowing me to gift the same 3 products I received to one lucky reader. A $340 value!
