TheraBreath Review and Giveaway

CLOSED
Congratulations! Winner  #20 Roshana
Do you ever wake up in the morning with a bad taste in your mouth and the dreaded "morning breath"? Perhaps you worry when you are up close and personal with someone that your breath might not be the freshest. Do you suffer from bad breath? I know this may not be a topic that people like to discuss but it is actually something that many people suffer from. In fact TheraBreath has treated over 1,000,000 people world wide to solve their problems of bad breath and unpleasant mouth taste. TheraBreath is the world's most advanced line of oral care and creator Dr. Katz stands by his products and personally guarantees that his formulas will work for you. Most of us are misinformed about the causes of bad breath. TheraBreath's website has a wealth of information and research articles to help you understand both the causes and how to remedy them. Even if you are one of the lucky ones that does not suffer from bad breath TheraBreath also carries other oral care products designed for healthy gums, teeth whitening, dry mouth, tonsil stones, and even a line of probiotics.

I was given three TheraBreath products for review and have been using them daily.

TheraBreath Toothpaste

"Brush with this toothpaste twice a day and you will stop bad breath, guaranteed! This formula is also great for gum health and nothing is more powerful at fighting cavities. Therabreath Toothpaste is designed to control the anaerobic bacteria that causes bad breath."  My husband was turned off by this toothpaste because it does not have the strong minty taste that many commercial toothpastes have. It also does not foam up the way others do. These things did not bother me at all. Especially since I understand that most of those minty tastes in those products are made by added chemicals and sugars that only mask the odors of bad breath and may even cause odor causing bacteria to multiply faster. And as for the foaming, most toothpastes add the foaming agent sodium lauryl sulfate to appear like something is happening, in reality this additive has no real effect on how clean your teeth are getting. One thing that my husband did agree on after brushing my teeth with this toothpaste is that I did have fresh breath. My teeth also feel much cleaner after brushing. I personally think this is a good toothpaste that works and I use it everyday. It also does not contain alcohol, saccharin, sodium lauryl sulfate, and benzalkonium chloride (a known allergen), and I am all about using products with natural ingredients and eliminating harsh chemicals and additives.

TheraBreath Oral Rinse
"Stop your bad breath and end chronic halitosis by using TheraBreath Oral Rinse after brushing with TheraBreath Toothpaste. This amazing rinse uses the odor-obliterating power of OXYD-8 for treating bad breath, stopping halitosis and eliminating sour, bitter and metallic tastes in your mouth." The same things I said about TheraBreath Toothpaste can also be said about this oral rinse. I have been using it everyday as part of my mouth cleaning regimen.
TheraBreath Mouth Wetting Lozenges
"Our unique Lozenges are unlike any breath mint you have ever tried. They work in three distinct stages to make sure your mouth is fresh, moist, and healthy. This three stage approach is not only unique, but incredibly effective at controlling bad breath odor." Did you know that healthy saliva contains a high concentration of oxygen which inhabits bad breath. Therefore the drier your mouth is, the greater your chance is of having bad breath. These mints help create saliva to keep your mouth moist. They also have a minty taste that help to eliminate odors quickly. Unlike the two other products I mentioned these mints are actually very minty. They start off with a very pleasant citrus-y scent but the minty taste quickly takes over. When I first tried these I was a little put off with how strong they were. I decided to give them a second chance and have since started to actually enjoy them. I pop one in my mouth after brushing and then again whenever I feel the need to freshen up.
All in all I believe that TheraBreath products are definitely high quality products that work and I would recommend them to anyone who is concerned with oral health.

TheraBreath Probiotic Treatment Review and Giveaway

CLOSED
Congratulations! Winner #5 Kris

You might remember a couple of months ago I reviewed some TheraBreath products and was very impressed by them. I have since continued to use the toothpaste and mints and so when I was contacted again asked if I would like to review one of their newest products of course I said yes.

"The use of probiotics in health care is based on the scientific fact that a healthy level of "good" bacteria in the body can be very beneficial. These "good" bacteria occur naturally to some degree in most people and assist in many bodily functions (such as digestion). However not everyone has enough of every type of "good"bacteria in their system. Those that do, can sometimes demonstrate elevated resistance to a variety of germ related symptoms. Those that don't. can be more susceptible to various illnesses. Research suggests that increasing levels of some "good" bacteria can help the body to defend itself against hostile bacteria."

That's where TheraBreath's newest product TheraBreath Multi-Symptom Probiotics comes in.
This 7 day treatment is designed to reduce the amount of "bad" bacteria in your mouth while alleviating the symptoms they cause. These include bad breath, throat discomfort, ear aches, yellow coating on the tongue, and other tooth and gum problems. The 7 day treatment is very easy to follow. It includes 9 treatment powders as well as a small tube of TheraBreath toothpaste. The treatment powders are conveniently packaged in a cardboard tray that can be placed directly on your bathroom counter so that you don't forget to use it. Each powder packet is also clearly labeled telling you when to use. When I first opened up the box and read that I would need to mix the powder with water before use I thought it sounded like too much trouble. I was wrong. I keep mini paper cups in my bathroom and it was very easy to fill them halfway with water, pour the treatment powder in and mix it up. I was also concerned with the fact that the directions tell you to rinse for 60 seconds and then gargle for 30. The reason I was concerned because I just had the assumption that it would have a bad taste. I have a very bad gag reflex and if something taste bad I immediately have to spit it out. I was wrong again. The powder adds a very light citrus taste to the water, not unpleasant at all. It also cools your mouth leaving it feeling clean and refreshed. I don't know that I noticed anything different happening in my mouth during the 7 day treatment but it is recommended to repeat the treatment monthly to maintain the levels of beneficial bacteria. I am definitely interested in continuing to use this and other TheraBreath products.

TheraBreath products can be purchased online and in several retail stores. Check their online store locator to find a store near you.
