I will be the first to admit it...we're a nerdy family. Seriously...I am a nerd. Chip is a geek. We have one child who is both brilliant and interested in geekery (so we have yet to determine what he will be) and one little monster who just likes to make a mess and get into trouble. She is brilliant too for her almost 2-years of age. =)

Seriously...we do our best to answer our son's questions as honestly as possible and make most activities learning opportunities. If we go for a walk, we talk about the bugs or plants we see. Or why the birds are migrating. Or why the birds are chomping down on the dead armadillo in the road. Whatever works. But we love for our children to learn.

The Review:
We chose to review the Bath Fizzies with the idea of giving them to Patrick's Pre-K teachers here at the end of the school year. Here is the kit we received.



Here is my guy (yes, in his pjs) getting ready to start the process. We chose to divide it into two batches so we could make one batch of key lime scented and one batch of orange scented (we just couldn't decide!). And by the way...ignore the mess on the table in the background!

Doing such a thorough job! Although the instructions did not tell us to, we covered the side we'd already done to avoid lime/orange contamination. =) Not that it would've hurt anything, of course, but we just wanted to keep them separate. Because we're anal-retentive like that.



And 12 hours later, we got our finished product. These adorable heart-shaped fizzies will be wrapped in baggies and tied off with a ribbon and a tag noting that they were hand-made by Patrick with love.

We had some left-over mix so I put them into candy-molds and created some fizzies for my little ones to play with in the bath. =)
