WINNER #52 Gale CONGRATULATIONS!
Being the thrifty stay at home mom that I am I am always looking for ways to save my family money. When I heard about a laundry ball that claims to be able to last, on average, a year of washing, and save my family up to $100 well I have to admit I was a bit skeptical. Could one little ball actually save my family that much money on laundry alone?
Robby Wash, a laundry detergent ball was designed by
Oransi to do just that. While standard laundry detergents can cost you up to $1.00 a load, the high efficient Robby laundry ball is less then $0.25 a load. If you ask me that's a load of savings worth investigating. So how exactly does this laundry ball work? In
Oransi's words "
The Robby Wash ball uses a unique and patented worldwide technology to clean your laundry even better than the powder laundry detergents it was independently tested against. Its activated macromolecules are gradually released through the wash, dissolving dried-in stains by generating ions which activate the water molecules. This increase in the pH enables the activated molecules to penetrate deep into the fabrics and attach themselves to the stains. As the motion of the drum agitates the clothes, the stains come away easily from the fabric and dissolve in the water." In my words, you throw the little ball into your front or top loading washing machine and leave it there. Each time you do a wash the ball works it's magic and gets those dirty clothes clean. Can laundry get any simpler?
Robby Wash laundry ball comes in both a blue and pink laundry ball, no the ball is not gender specific. The blue ball is designed to be used in both cold and hot water while the pink ball is formulated for color loads and cooler temperatures. I received the blue Robby Wash for review and was very eager to try it out. Laundry for this stay at home momma suddenly got exciting.

Each Robby Wash pack includes a washing ball, a stain stick and three extra packets of macro-molecule pellets. Refills are also available but you don't have to worry about them for awhile... So what's my opinion of this laundry ball? First of all the ball already comes pre-filled so I wasn't lying when I said you just throw it in with your wash. Quick and easy, love it so far. Second my clothes not only looked clean but smelled clean as well. And finally while I obviously haven't been using it for a year and can't really say anything on that I will say that after using it for 3 washes my Robby ball doesn't seem to have lost any of its "soap pellets". I have to admit I am no longer skeptical about its claims. But most importantly my absolute favorite feature of the Robby Wash laundry ball is it is totally hypoallergenic and a great choice for people with sensitive skin. I have two of those in my family so this is just an added plus in my book.
