Review & Giveaway: Seventh Generation Starter Kit

 CLOSED
Winner:  #45

Blogger Snowflake07 said...
google friend follower (publicly The winner has 48 hours to respond to claim their prize or a new winner will be selected.

I just received my very first winning from Familylicious' giveaway of Seventh Generation products this morning! And guess what?! Seventh Generation wants to continue to spread the love so one of you can become a believer like I did this morning!

It was like Christmas opening this box. Amazing how cleaning products can make us girly girls get excited but it is true! I immediately got to cleaning and I have to say... I don't think I can EVER go back to other cleaning agents that contain so many harmful chemicals after experiencing the cleaning power of Seventh Generation.

First of all, these smell divine. Each cleaner has its own scent but they don't smell like chemicals. They're fresh and natural. When I used the Toilet Bowl Cleaner in Emerald Cypress and Fir it smelled so FRESH! I have a very sensitive sense of smell so I was delighted with the scents they sent. The label states: "This product is scented only with 100% whole essential oils and botanical extracts" and the label also has a detailed ingredient list and they do not hide any ingredients with fancy words.

Second, when I was cleaning I could just tell the products were safer to use, which is very important for keeping my own Girly Girls safe from harm. When I use products that contain harmful ingredients I feel as though I have to put on a haz-mat suit and scrub my hands afterward. Not so with these products! The label even reads: "Seventh Generation products, although not intended for consumption, aren't poisonous. IF Swallowed, drink water and consult a physician."

Third, not only is it safe for my family it is environmentally friendly to use these products.

WIN IT:
So want a chance to win your own starter set which includes everything pictured above: paper towel roll, reuseable shopping bag, toilet bowl cleaner, tub and tile cleaner, kitchen cleaner, all-purpose cleaner, glass cleaner and shower cleaner. I like that they disclose all the ingredients in their products. More makers of cleaning products, etc should be doing that.

I just checked out their webpage. I've heard of seventh gen, of course, but I had no idea that they were taking polical action to improve the quality of cleaning ingredients we use. Impressive.

Another product I'd like to try is their fabric softener. I don't like washing my clothes with scented cleansers so that free and clear fabric softner sounds pretty cool.

We have reformulated the powders to work in both standard and HE machines. Please be sure to follow the directions on the label. The recommended amount to use is 1oz.
